Julie Ross, CEO UK and Ireland

Julie started her corporate career at global management consulting firm, Bain & Company, working across the world in multiple different sectors and completed her MBA at INSEAD, based in France and Singapore. Julie joined Portman Dental Care in 2019 as chief commercial officer before taking on the roles of chief operating officer and managing director. Now she is chief executive officer for combined business PortmanDentex, following the merger of Portman Dental Care and Dentex Health in 2023. Prior to joining Portman Dental Care, Julie spent five years in leadership positions in the veterinary industry at veterinary group Pets at Home.

Julie is excited by the huge opportunity that PortmanDentex now has to provide best in class care for patients, an inspiring place to work for both clinicians and colleagues and a sustainable platform with which to achieve this.

Prior to joining Bain & Company Julie started her career as a veterinary surgeon. She graduated from Cambridge University and spent the early part of her career working in the USA where she specialised in equine veterinary medicine.
