Careers
Philip qualified in Sheffield in 1976 and following associate positions in Bradford on Avon, Bath and Derby relocated to his home town in 1984 acquiring Edgar Buildings Dental Care in Bath.
He provides general dentistry with a particular interest in implant and restorative dentistry.
He has lectured for Nobel Biocare in the UK and abroad. He presented at the Nobel Biocare World Symposium in Las Vegas in 2007 and was the lead clinician on the Nobel Procera Roadshow in Belfast.
He has written various articles in the dental press and has published articles in the British and European Journals of Orthodontics.
Philip is a member of the Association of Implantology, a full member of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry and an Affiliate of the European Academy of Aesthetic.
In his role of Regional Clinical Lead for Portman, Philip supports other Portman dentists across the South and South West with clinician issues and compliance support.
