Social media competition | March 2023
1. The promoter is Portman Healthcare Limited, which is registered and incorporated in England and Wales under company number 06740579. Our registered office is at Rosehill, New Barn Lane, Cheltenham, GL52 3LZ.
2. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over, excluding employees of Portman Healthcare Limited, their family or close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of this competition.
3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
5. Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via the Instagram and Facebook posts on the Portman Dental Care Facebook and Instagram accounts: https://www.facebook.com/PortmanDental and https://www.instagram.com/portmandentalcare
6. Only one entry will be accepted per person per method of entry. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
7. Closing date for entry will be 11.59pm on Friday 31st March 2023. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
9. To enter the competition, entrants must tag someone on the original competition post on the Portman Dental Care Facebook or Instagram, and comment why they want to make the person they tagged happy.
9. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
10. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
11. The prize is as follows: a gift worth up to £30 that will be sent to the winner. The exact gift will be decided once Portman know who the winner is, as the prize will need to be relevant to the person.
12. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable, subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
13. Winners will be chosen at random by software from all entries received and verified by the Promoter and/or its agents.
14. The winner will be notified and tagged in Instagram Stories and Instagram post or in a Facebook post, depending which channel they were nominated and tagged from, within 7 working days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement.
16. The prize will be sent to the winner’s address.
17. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
18. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
19. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
20. The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
21. The winners’ names will be available for 28 days after the closing date by emailing the following address: [email protected]
22. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
23. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram or any other social network.
24. You are providing your information to Portman Healthcare Limited and not to any other party.
25. The only data we collect will be the information you provide via the entry form if you choose to enter the competition.
26. Names and usernames will only be used to randomly select the prize winners and will not be permanently stored unless you confirm via the tick box on the landing page that you are happy to be contacted. After the winners have accepted their prize, all other names and usernames will be removed from our servers, unless you have confirmed you are happy to be contacted.
27. Winners’ names will be stored and available for 28 days after the closing date as per point 21. After this point, they will be removed from our servers.
