Ben Hanning, Business Development Director

Ben graduated as a veterinary surgeon from Cambridge University. After working across a selection of roles in clinical practice he joined IVC Evidensia, a global veterinary group. There he spent five years in operational, IT, marketing and mergers and acquisitions roles before moving to Medivet, a European veterinary group, as group director of acquisitions for two years. In 2022, Ben joined Portman Dental Care as business development director for the UK and Ireland, and was responsible for group development, mergers and acquisitions activity and property.

Ben is passionate about offering innovative health services that are connected by innovative technology, and believes PortmanDentex can make a fundamental difference to the world of dentistry and wellness.

Outside of work he is a proud dad to three boys and enjoys off-roading, smoking meat, ale drinking and dog walking. He especially enjoys taking anything apart to fix it: from electronics to cars.
